i think youll be happier and get better results with a dyno tune, 130hp increase from a handheld seems pretty steep.
#3
Is a dyno tune something that I have to continually have redone to maintain the results? Also, any ideas of what a tune costs?
#4
the only time youll have to redo a dyno tune is after you add more go fast parts that you didnt have on for the orginal tune, as for the cost youll have to call around and get prices every shop is a lil different but most places wont be much more than a handheld programmer.

sweet. i'm thinking CAI and thats about it, maybe a throttle body spacer?? All only if I get hte new job I'm hopin for!

Doesn't appear to offer anything that my Hypertech doesn't. 130hp no way. Show me a verified dyno graph. And don't bother with the TB spacer.
#7
yea leave the TB spacer alone...unless you need a very expensive paper weight
#8
Yeah I figured the 130hp was bogus... 330 bucks is alot of cash so i'm a little iffy, maybe I'll just stick with the tune, that way if something messes up I have someone to yell at in person and not via phone or email

Even a PCM4Less or Wait4Me tune would be better than most any hand held. There are questions asked for the mail order tunes that handhelds do not...
