Default Set of wires

I'm about to do a tune-up and I priced a set of acdelco wires. The dealer quoted over $200 Canadian dollars. Can this be right?? If so, I guess I'll look at partsouce or carquest for a more realistic price..

The dealers price will always be higher than the aftermarket scene. They have to makeup for lack of maintainence on vehicles now that the factory has made these cars/trucks virtually maintainence free for XXX,XXX thousands of miles at least according to the advertised marketing....so they make it up in higher parts prices and labor....I had to replace a water pump on my 1999 Grand Am they wanted $75-$80 US I got the part from CarQuest for $40 US and replaced it my self.....saved over $100....So I would look to CarQuest, Summit Racing or other online parts supplier before I go to E-bay for Parts.....

Yeah I called a place called Quality Auto and asked them about a new alterantor... 275 plus labor... well I picked one up at autozone for 130 and put it in myself and only took about 10-15 minutes.
