Default throttle body spacer?

Ya'll try not to get too angry--I'm sure it's already been asked. I just didn't see it on the threads.

I am just curious if ya'll have used any of the trottle body spacers out there. If so, do they work? pros/ cons...please? I know the slightest change to anything will mess up the computer. I just wondered if it would help gas mileage or do anything.

Have one in my 2000 ZR2, no real noticable difference except it makes a cool sound when I punch it

This thread has my response about using a spacer on any one of the 4.3L engines...
