K&N FIPK and throttle body spacer.
Hi, I have a 96 Blazer and I'm really lookin forward to gettin the K&N FIPK. This will probably be a stupid question to some of you, but im new, and im still learning about cars. So I've heard that a throttle body spacer also helps out with gas mileage and horsepower. Would I be able to install the K&N FIPK with the throttle body spacer? And if so, do you think that the AIRAID throttle body spacer is a good one?
I'm also about to buy a K&N FIPK for my blazer. They will be sending it to me with a Tornado insert placed inside the tube. Do you think the Tornado insert will benefit me or not?
Ok. So is there anything else that might be installed with the K&N FIPK to gain extra power? And by the way, thanks for letting me know. I'll take that Tornado insert out as soon as i get it. LOL
I wasted my money on the piece of $H!T tornado. I actually recorded 3 mpg worse with the tornado. . . I bought a k&n filter though. They work well, i went from 21 mpg to 23 mpg on the highway. . .
I know it's not a race truck, but who wouldn't want 2 get an extra few horses, and epecially some more gas mileage, if u had the chance? This is why im askin, and i just want 2 find out. Now i know, and i'll take the advice that u guys give me. I'm gettin my air intake soon.
