Hi, I have a 96 Blazer and I'm really lookin forward to gettin the K&N FIPK. This will probably be a stupid question to some of you, but im new, and im still learning about cars. So I've heard that a throttle body spacer also helps out with gas mileage and horsepower. Would I be able to install the K&N FIPK with the throttle body spacer? And if so, do you think that the AIRAID throttle body spacer is a good one?

My brother has the AIRAID on his S-10. He said it was the biggest waste of money he has ever seen.
Not worth it in his opinion

I'm also about to buy a K&N FIPK for my blazer. They will be sending it to me with a Tornado insert placed inside the tube. Do you think the Tornado insert will benefit me or not?

Tornado = junk
Every test that I have seen by magazines, tv shows, etc has proven that they do nothing. In some tests, they even decreased hp.

Ok. So is there anything else that might be installed with the K&N FIPK to gain extra power? And by the way, thanks for letting me know. I'll take that Tornado insert out as soon as i get it. LOL

tornado is pointless, the vortec motor already does the job of the tornado.

I wasted my money on the piece of $H!T tornado. I actually recorded 3 mpg worse with the tornado. . . I bought a k&n filter though. They work well, i went from 21 mpg to 23 mpg on the highway. . .
