Need just a bit more info to give you any reasonable answer.

Is the Z an auto tranny, and what engine is it behind?

Is your Blazer a 4x4?

i think the big question is the shifter & shifter location. the t-5 shifter is integrated into the top of the tailshaft, it may be located too far back for your truck. the shifter isnt going to be too comfy if its at your elbow... you need to do some measuring.
