There are 2 locating pins on either side of the engine block that keep the transmission lined up during installation. These can get a bit corroded since it is steel against aluminum. They are about in the middle between the two bolts that were on the sides. Spray them down with penetrating oil(WD-40, Kroil, PB Blaster, etc.). You're going to need to rock the transmission side-to-side and it should come free. It's a PITA, but they are fairly tight to begin with and a little rust or corrosion does not help. A little anti-sieze on the pins during installation would help for the future. Just in case.

But if they are free already, I think there are only the 6 bolts on the top half plus whatever is on the bottom of the bellhousing. I have not worked on any 4L60e's newer than '95 though so I'm going from what I've been told.

I jacked mine up a bit to take pressure off the dowel pins then used a thin scredriver and tapped lightly with a hammer at mating surface to seperate.
