Default 02 engine swap

Alright so I posted earlier about freeze plug problems in a previous thread. Well after replacing the leaking plugs I have bigger problems. After I plugged both plugs I filled up the cooling system with water to check for leaks. It seems to be leaking around the water pump or so I thought. Pulled the oil dipstick and it was way too full and looked like chocolate milk.... I wasn't impressed to say the least. Wondering if I'm looking at a cracked block? Head gasket? I'm not sure so I'm hoping someone can give me some insight! Thanks! Also if it is a cracked block, how is replacing one of these 4.3's? I've heard it's a nightmare.... any tips appreciated. Thanks again.
