1993 S-10 Hard shifting from 1st to2nd gear
Hello My 1993 S-10 Blazer hard shifts from 1st to 2nd I have change the trans. filter ,fluid and replace the trans. mount but i notice that the trans. bolts are missing from the trans. to the mount. Would this cause the hard shifting? P.S and it sometimes hard shift from park to drive and from park to reverse
I am having trouble lining up the tranny mount to the cross member. When I attached the the mount to the trannt it's off to the left about 1/8 to 1/16 inches ( using the front as a point of ref.) I kept the old mount, tried it same results
Yes. This has been going on about 1 1/2 to 2 Months I have had the truck about 4 years

*Moving to Engine & Transmission*
If it is off to the left or right, just push the transmission over until it drops in. It should be able to move a bit to line up.
Art, please start a new thread in the appropriate tech section for your problem. As these two years are quite different in transmission controls, it would be best to keep these two issues separate.
