Default 1996 blazer 4x4 no *****

Hey everyone I need some help. My blazer is slow as syrup in winter. The motor revs and runs great but it doesn't take off like my other s10s. Which sucks cause this has all the new stuff. Parts list- 4.3 vortec bored .30 over. All new internals. 4l60e has been beefed up with hd clutches and bands. Transfer case also rebuilt. New rear end with stock ratio 3.42. It has new cat and full glasspack exhaust. Hypertech max programmer. Run 93 octane. It has the abs light on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When was the last tune up? Plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter etc.

Have you ever cleaned the MAF and throttle body?

The programmer could be the issue too. Have you loaded the factory settings back in and driven it that way to check?

It got new plugs, cap, dist, wires. Literally everything is new. I cleaned it when I put the motor in about a month ago. Yeah it was doing it before I bought the programmer. No it sounds like my cat is rattling but goes away. Thanks for the help

what kinda plugs? these blazers are picky. best ive found is ngk v powers,or just the ac delco coppers.

The glasspacks kills a tad bit of low end torque, but makes up for it in the top end (55 mph ish+ at wot)

I put the ngk platnium I think. It has no power at all. Low or high. It struggles to stay at 55
