Exclamation 1999 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4WD SUV engine knock from underneath

Hi, I am new here and would greatly appreciate some help

Car: 1999 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4WD SUV

Problem: engine knock coming from underneath engine, oil pressure rises as I press on gas (knocking gets louder).

What have I tried: Using stop knock to try to quiet lifters.

I would appreciate any insight I'm leaning towards a bad bearing or lifter due to the previous searches.

Post video please. We can tell which if sound quality is decent. Also sometimes bad bearings can cause lifters to tick by excessive bearing clearance starving a lifter for oil pressure. For example, #1 Main bearing/rod bearing and lifters draw oil from virtually the same place. #1 rod bearing goes out (last to be oiled and thus lowest pressure) and then a #1 lifter starts ticking.

When bearings go out, fine metal particles get into the oil. If you let a sample of old engine oil settle overnight you can see the metal particles as a shiny layer when you pour from one glass container to another.

Bearing knocks can also be diagnosed by inducing a miss into each cylinder, one at a time by pulling a plug wire. When you find the cylinder that quietens when it misses, you have found the one that is knocking.

Good luck
