Default 1999 ls 4x4 tranny

my blazer sometimes will slightly slip....maybe 500 rpm s after it gets hot....but it dont shift hard and takes off fine....do i need a complete rebuild or is it something easy....

Does the fluid smell burnt ? And is it full on fluid ?You could try and change the filter and fluid and then if it still slips you no what you have to do . If the fluid is not burnt theres a good chance it will help .

thanks for your reply...i just bought the ride a week ago...fluid looks fresh...i think i might have got burnt...lol.......well any one had any luck out of lucas stop slip?
