1999 tranny problem

1999 tranny problem

So my 1999 Chevy Blazer 4X4 won't shift down from third gear. It is VERY sluggish from a stop. The transmission will shift if I manually select the gears on the coloumn shifter. Any ideas?

sounds like tranny is in safe mode because of a bad shift solenoid you can also check the fuse for the tranny, you should have a code.
