I am exchanging transmissions in a 84 s-10- 4x4 with the 92 s-10- 4x4 I am also considering replacing the 4.3 intake with one from a federal carb 4 barrel intake and vacuum Advance distributor from 85/86 application. Any helpful hints, suggestions, recommendations. or taboo's will be appreciated. If there is any suggested basic and advance timing specs for premium fuel too. Thanks Rick

 

i hope you know that the 4.3 trans will not bolt up on the 84 if it still has a 2.8.
