When using 4 wheel drive, should one shift into overdrive or use D3?

If you need 4wd (which is the only time you should be using it unless you have AutoTrac), you probably shouldnt be going fast enough to need to ask...but you'd be fine in OD with 4Hi. 4Lo you definitely should not be going that fast though.

Tomkae,if you want to register at the GM Owner Centerwebsite you can view an online copy of the owner's manual for your vehicle. Also, please create a signature for your posts in your member profile so we know what vehicle you have. It helps with answering questions you may have.
