My 2000 Blazer has started stumbling during idle. It is not dieing yet. It did just hesitate really badly this evening. Did I say I am 400 hundred miles from home? Runs strong during all other conditions. Power is good! Any sugestions would be apreciated

mine was doing something simillar off and on especially after running down the highway then getting stopped on surface streets (lights/stop signs) it would only do it from time to time at first... then more often. pretty soon it felt like i was towing a billion pounds and running out of gas...
if it trips any codes, have them read (i.e. check Engine Light)
otherwise you may want to tap (gently-ish) on your catalytic convert and pre-cat...
when mine was doing this i had smoked an o2 sensor, melted down my cat, and burned up my pre cat (internal honeycomb stuffs).
there could be a bunch of things wrong... that is just one place to look
