Post 2000 Blazer TCM or TCM Switch

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer and have read links regarding the Transfer Case ControlModule (TCCM) and TCCM Switch (TCCMS). My problem started with the 4x4 service light and then all lights on theTCCMS lit.
I pulled the fuse and itappeared to correct the problem. It cameback but this time the TCCM was clicking like it was making popcorn. I could also hear it clicking when the enginewas off and just sitting in the driveway with no key in the ignition.
I pulled the wires on the TCCM and checked for corrosion, all looked good and I replaced applying di-electric grease. A few weeks later same thing with the TCCM clicking and all lights coming on the TCCMS. When all lights are off 4x4 works so I don’t think it is a vacuum problem.

Can anyone answer if it the problem is in the Transfer Case Control Module, or TransferCase Control Module Switch and which should be replaced first?

if you look in the tech section there is a write up on diagnosing the 4x4 system...it may help.
good call on checking the harness for corrosion, common problem.
