Default 2001 zr2 no reverse when warmed up

So in the morning when i leave, i can engage reverse no problem... once i drive for 20 mins or so, reverse wont engage... it shows reverse on the cluster but it doesnt "clunk" and its basically another nuetral once i drive for a little bit... in forward, it shifts perfect... 1st thru 4th up and back down... i put a new cable, adjusted the cable and the nuetral safety switch... any thoughts would help...

Im probably gonna try some of that lucas trans stuff... maybe the fluid is too thin and if i thicken the fluid it may help... im hoping its a solenoid or something

Well, per the usual, when i left this morning it worked fine... after i made a few stops... driving for half hour or so, no reverse... i read in one of these threads about downshifting to see if it engine brakes... a way of checking the lo-reverse clutch pack... it barks out and drags hard... so 🤷‍♂️ just an update for anyone who wants to give me a light.. i know its gotta be something dumb...

Mine had the same problem and turned out to be the sun shell. I opted for a complete rebuild with more heavy duty internals. Glad I did.
