When purchased my blazer I was told that it had an occasional issue with the transmission very rarely it will act like it hasn't shifted up and it's in neutral but then it will catch and engage I noticed they roaring sound that I assume was road noise because someone had put large all-terrain tires on it and they were a bit scalloped so I went and got a set of street tires 235 70 15 and still had the roaring sound I was told it was a wheel bearing but a wheel bearing is not going to last very long making that kind of noise and it's been doing it for a while and my local mechanic said it had to do with the ABS system so I changed the ABS box and nothing changed so I got a hub and bearing and rotor and caliper and put it on the left front for the sound seem like it was coming from still making the noise so I moved that bearing and hub to the right front still making that roaring sound never hurt anything like it you guys have a clue could it be the transmission sounding like road noise

Welcome to the forum.

I'll let one of the other qualified members that deal with such things help you with this one issue but holy cow, you came roaring onto the forum today! I am reloading the coffee maker to be able to keep up.
