4.3 worked great for 15 minutes, low voltage?
Have you followed the entire wire out of the shrouding all the way to the PCM from the MAP sensor? If so, you should be able to see any damage and make a general assessment as to what condition the wire is in. If you can solder, you may want to try just replacing that wire. It's simple enough, just use some 18awg wire to do so.
THanks for the diagrams, they helped a lot!
I just checked (with an ohm meter) the wires coming from the TPS and MAP and they all are ok.
Could it be the VCM? how is that tested?
Can i test the MAP sensor?
do you think you could post the 3 other connectors to the vcm? thank you

I would start by disconnecting both the MAP and the TPS sensors and then testing the 5V reference. If it is still low, then it is likely that it is a PCM problem, but before jumping all the way to that conclusion, I would disconnect C3 and test continuity from the appropriate pins to the connector on at each sensor. Also check for continuity to ground. If there is continuity to ground, then there is a short inside the wiring harness somewhere. If not, then the problem likely is in the PCM.
that was the first thing that got me to wonder about the shared grey wire, tps and map both were just under 2 volts
on my pcm there are 4 connections and they are color coded
I checked and with your diagrams located and used an ohm meter to verify resistance, they all seemed ok, well I did not check the feul tank pressure sensor
but TPS, MAP were ok
Ground continuity could be it? How can I check this? I am not sure, but to the two above mentioned sensors the ground seemed good
OK HERE GOES NOTHING! LOL I was in the garage from 12 to two in the morning. I decided to check out the bottom of the fuse panel (in the engine, over the the driver's side wheel well) and I noticed 4 red wires going to it, and two had the green stuff on it, like an old church's roof. I cleaned them (had to head to the dealership for a connector) and instead of crimping them I solder them. Low and behold, I got my 5 volts back! I did not get a chance to start it as I am home with the kiddies today. After my wife gets back, I will fire it up. Darn wires!
cheers,
fletch
