sometimes. one method i always use is to drill a small hole into the seal then run a sheet metal screw into it or a lag bolt then rip them out with a pair of channel locks. but you really have to be careful as to not drill or screw into anything important

Anyone out there have some tips that can make this transaction move along? Id really hate to have to sale it or spend two grand at a shop. I'm not cheap i just cant give that chunk of cash out right now. I know this is a generally expensive fix.Im nose deep in two chiltons books. One for S series and one for full size. Neither one show an exact match for mine. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Thanks.
"Sensor Cracking" is due to a glue used during first assembly of the transmission. Use a heat gun to heat up the area for about 30 to 45 seconds the glue will give up and let go and you can use a pick to easily remove them.

Nice to know about the glue, hadn't heard of that! Which sensor are you referring to?
