Default 5.7 swap in place of 4.3 in 2002 Blazer two wheel drive

I guess my first question should be before I start pulling engines is there enough clearance between the radiator and the belts and pulleys if the fan is a problem a blower fan on the front would do nicely any other major issues I don't expect it to be no heavy since it's a Blazer and has more weight in the rear than a pickup and I think the transmission will hold up for normal use that should say nose heavy

Yes the transmission will hold for a while but I went ahead and used the 5.7 and transmission from the donor truck everything hooked up pretty well even the air conditioning and I put a blower fan in front of the AC condenser eventually I will upgrade the rear end we built the 99 Vortec engine and got it on the dyno at a little over $3 65 horsepower and 380 foot pounds of torque with a budget build of less than $4,000 check out popular hot rodding magazine April of 2007 375 horsepower for 3800 and that's everything used engine machine shop still crank rods Pistons camshaft with a little tweaking hoping to get 400 horsepower and it runs on pump gas
