why does it seem as though my trans cooler lines want to be crushed by the engine ( droping it in now)? they dont seem to go to the left or the right of the engine. they are factorty lines i believe ( all hard line, bent for what seems to be the way it wants to be routed) but if i try placing to left or right it has to much tention on them affraid there going to kink. Anyone????? should have paid better attention when removing old engine huh? Love some help. also since im here..... is it wise to leave intake man. off till engin is in? do i need to acsess the fuel injector pump to purge fuel lines? or can this be done from the injectors end?

its an 1982 if that makes a diff.
