Unhappy 75' Transmission problems

Hey!

I've got at little problem with my 1975 K5 blazer 4x4, automatic. Problems begun after parking at the beach, 2 hours later I put it in reverse and then in drive, but it would not move. More or less like N. Had to be towed away...

Problem still stands, I can go backwards but not forward. Tried moving the H(loc)-H-L-L(loc) shifter but did not help at all, no gears worked at all in any other position than H, and there was some leakage from the transmission aswell...

Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

//Greetings from Sweden

Sounds like you have a bad transmission. When was the last time you had a flush, or a rebuild done?

Try manual low, if it moves then you have a blown Low roller. If it doesn't move then you have either a blown gear train or a broken sun shell. All of these require a transmission overhaul. You could pull the pan off and see if there is a bunch of metal debris in the bottom. I have overhauled more than a few 350 Turbos from a full sized Blazer with broken hard parts.

I see your from Sweden, I'm not sure of parts availability over there for the 350. I still have some parts, so if I can help... let me know.
