Default Transmission squeaking??

I have a 2000 Chevy blazer 2wd 4.3L vortec, automatic transmission (4L60-E). what can cause a squeaking noise from the transmission? I recently did a motor swap due to a spun bearing (another 4.3L) and as soon as I turned the truck on it was fine, I put it into gear and a loud squeaking noise started. I turned the truck off to check it out, didn't notice anything wrong so I tried it again. Now every time I turn the truck on it makes that noise, even in park now, also there was a small amount of smoke coming out of the trans dust cover(left it open in cause of a problem).... Any in-put or idea will be helpful

Sounds to me like the convertor slipped out a bit and got stacked on the pump gears. Possibly the bushing has spun. How long has it run??? Did you drive it? How much? Is it full of fluid? Did anybody spin the converter before bolting everything up? Did the converter have about 1/8" between the flex-plate and the TC mounting boss? I have dealt with 2 different stacked pumps/spun bushings lately myself. I bench 4L60E's all the time. Both of these were seasoned DIYers. Fixed 'em for the cost of the pumps... lesson learned & never heard from them again!!!
