82 K5 no reverse

82 K5 no reverse
Hey Guys.
Have an 82 K5 with the 700R4,that has no reverse.All the forward gears work.
Truck had reverse before it was parked for 3 years,now it will not even attempt.
Fluid is up and nice and clean.
Any ideas on where to look next? Do valves stick in these tranny's?
