92 s-10 blazer egr issue

Default 92 s-10 blazer egr issue
I removed and cleaned the egr valve and replaced the gasket with a screened one. it started and ran but after a few minutes it died like some one pulled a vacuum hose. any suggestions.

did it run fine before this or did a code pop up saying egr? thats if you have cpi. we need detailed info bro.
