I know that if a part of a diagram is surrounded by a dotted line then that means that their is more to the diagram somewhere else (IGN SWITCH) so maybe they included that saftey switch in with the ignition switch. just guessing. i like alldata better for wiring diagrams but i have to deal with shopkey for now

 

Thanks to everyone for all the helpful suggestions. The schematic doesn't show the neutral safety switch, I guess I'll just try to search for it. The 12 V is on the big terminal of the starter, my helper (great grandson) wasn't able to test the other (solenoid pull in) terminal. When I can get under the car, I'll check it out. The driveway where the car sits is kind of muddy now!
