I havea 954door,4wheel. TodayI was on the highway and kinda got on it to pass someone and it kicked down to third then my pedal dropped and my foot went to the floor and the pedal stuck. She wouldnt go faster then 55-60mph after this and wouldnt get out of third. I managed to get to my house and at every stop the truck would stay in the high Rs roughly between 2500-3200. When i shut the truck offI popped the hood and saw that the cable was still on but there was a lot of slack, I pulled to see if it snapped but nothing happend. If anyone knows any other possibilities please help me out. Thanks

It sounds like your throttle has stuck. I would take some sensor safe carb/throttle body cleaner and spray the heck out of the throttle body. The crappy part is that you cannot remove the throttle body without removing the upper plenum.
If you remove the plastic intake duct and look in at the throttle plate, does it look like it is closing all of the way?
