Talking 95 s10 balanced and blue printed 4.3

just wondering about something i heard. with the money ive put into my engine. should i use a break in oil with lots of zinc or just go with my normal oil and do a 500 mile initial run to break in my new baby. what im hearing is high zinc oil will plug my cats.
any research ideas would be appreciated.
thanks

I think zinc is important in a new engines life. Id run it. If it plugs your cats then fine, spend 60 bucks on some aftermarket magnaflow cats if it clogs. Alot better then wondering "Hmm is this engine going to last as long since i ran just regular oil when it was breaking in?". At least thats my opinion. Id make sure a engine i put alot of money into is going to get every bit of help it can get then worrying about some cheap cats.

one of the things i was told was that since i upgraded to a complete roller assy.
the zinc wasn't needed because im not using flat tappet lifters. everything from the rocker arms to the chain and gears is running rollers.
summit racing did me right on parts and saved me alot of money so i went for the best i could get. the person that told me not to use zinc if i was running rollers builds race engines for a living. and warned me about the cats. i have 3 on my 95 s-10.

i could use some more input from other people out there who have rebuilt with roller assy's (forgive my use of words. i call them roller assy's because i use roller rockers, roller lifters and cam shafts. and a true roller chain and gears. even had the pistons fit for full floating pins to smooth out the package)
