Hi all, first off thanks in advance for any all help! My 97 2dr vin w, lost a numbar 6 rod bearing. I am wanting to put in another engine I found a 2002 engine locally, if it is a vin w will it still work? or what other engines will work, iam quite confused on the changes gm made over the years. I guess that's my questions, what do I look for in a replacment engine so I know it will function properly when done? sorry for the long post, I am not too good at the whole typing a question thing,lol. Thanks for any input if any more info is needed lmk
