do a fuel pressure test and you can find out if its the regulator or the spider or the fuel pump if there bad . i wouldn't be just trowing random parts that the truck might not need .

Troubleshooting is cheap. Guessing is expensive.
The guy who told you to just blindly replace the fuel pressure regulator is just guessing.

Its amazing how willing some people are to spend someone elses money!

I think youre on the right road thinking its something simple. That IAT sensor can cause a whole world of hurt if it isnt communicating right!

Dont give up!!!
