98 blazer dying when wheel turns left only
Hope this post finds everyone well,
I've had 2 blazers and I love them to death. Easy to fix and can take a beating as I'm sure many others on here do. My 98 blazer is driving me absolutely nuts. I've searched the forum to try and find a answer but cannot find a certain answer. I've got it narrowed down to the fuel filter, injectors, or power steering pump. It idles fine and drives fine. Steering is a little tight but I've put bigger tires on it then recommended 😂 daily drive it. Last week it died on me turning left on the highway. Immediately started back up fine and I got out of the highway. I started troubleshooting. If you turn the wheel more then 75% to the left and are slowly moving it will die. IMEDIATATLY starts up fine after it dies. I was assuming it was the power steering pump and was fixing to replace it. Well, today it died and wouldn't start again. It would crank but not fire. Dummy me didn't straighten the wheels 😂 after 5 minutes and alot of cuss words, I straightened the wheels and it fired up no problem. If ANYONE has any ideas or experiences with this please let me know. I'm not sure if I get notifications or not being a new member. Shoot me a email at shelby_esters@hotmail.com if you think you know the reason. I'll get back on here and check to see as well. I'm not sure how active this forum is.
Thanks for all your help,
Shelby E
