Default 98 blazer torque converter questions

I have a 98 blazer with the v6 and 4 wheel drive
bought a crate motor, and rebuilt the transmission and transfercase,
bought a rebuilt torque converter from advance auto, seems to bottom out and rub when spun, there are two converters listed can somebody explain the differences, one was considered a high stall unit, would chevy have put one of those in my blazer, would that cause the problem I am experiencing?
Thanks all,

Maybe I can rephrase the question... Will the torque converter rub on the bell housing if you push it all the way down on the shafts, it looks like I will need to back it out about a 1/4 inch when I bolt it to the flex plate?

when you install a converter in the trans it goes past where it runs when bolted to flywheel - when you bolt it to the flywheel it will move back to the flywheel a 1/4 inch or so - all the way in gives you clearances to line everything up

Default TC rubs

Ditto that, the converter pilot has to slip into the back of the crankshaft to align/center it in the bellhousing area.
