Hi I'm new here and I've got one question.
I live in uk and have a leak on my front (lip) seal of the transmission.
I went to see mechanic about that but when they see it's an american make car... they just want so much money for replacing seal it's just not worth doing...

I was thinking i could do it myself and save money but don't now how to get to it. Do i need to drop transmission? And how to drop it guys? (I don't know a lot about cars but even if i kill my transmission by doing this i rather kill it than pay so much money for stupid seal )
