Harmonic Balencer question
I bought a 2000 blazer with a 4.3 v engine. Was running kinda rough so drove it home and gave it a tune up (wires, cap, and plugs). While I was putting on a new serpentine belt I noticed the Harmonic balencer - pulley looked crooked. Upon further inspection I noticed that the outside part (were its held on by the rubber type material) was all crooked. Looks like someone tried pulling it off without a puller and made it crooked.
My question is with the pulley part being crooked could that cause it too run bad, set codes, etc.? It looks like the part that goes on the shaft is straight, only the pulley part is crooked. I'm just wondering if I should have it replaced before I start driving it.
I haven't had the codes checked yet (the check engine light was on and flashed a lot coming home) since I don't have a scanner.

RE: Harmonic Balencer question
Take it to Auto Zone. They will scan it for you.
I would replace the balancer right away. This can cause many issues.
