Default 99 S-10 4.3 will not start

i purchase a 99 S-10 4 door Blazer last week. it had been sitting for some time. i put new battery in will not start unless I pour fuel in throttle body. I did put fuel pressure gauge on it, no pressure. I installed a new fuel filter and new fuel pump. Still will not stay running. However I don't have a gauge today. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Jimmy

What did you find in the tank when you had it down? Was there old fuel/varnishy liquid in the tank? Or was it dry?

How did you clean out the tank?

If the tank was dry inside, it's likely the fuel also dried and hardened in the injectors, poppet valves and in the regulator. You might need a replacement for the entire spider injector assembly.

For now, turn the key on engine off, push on the schrader valve on the fuel line under the hood to see if the pump is working at all.

the fuel was actually just a little smelly not gummy at all had about 2 gallons of gas in it

i also took the line loose at new inline filter, turned on engine and fuel went everywhere. i have removed the two nut from shrader valve pulling slightly but stopped as I wasn't sure how it removed.
