Default 99 S10 Blazer Starting problem

I have a 99 Blazer with a 4.3 and remote start. For the past month I've had a problem........Turn the ignition and get nothing but dash lights. Starter isn't cranking over. I've replaced the starter and magically the truck was working again for about a week or week and a half, at most. Same issue happened again and I replaced the starter again. this time the problem didn't go away; turn the key and dash lights only. The starter was able to be shorted and it did start. Turned off the vehicle and it was hesitant to start again, but did. now I'm back to the same problem and have no clue as to what the issue is. please help, can't afford to have this looked at.

Does it start via remote? If so, your ignition switch is likely at fault. If not, you could have a problem with the trigger wire from the ignition switch to the starter.

It never did start with the remote start since I purchased the vehicle. How do I fix the issue.... A big thanks to you for the reply.

On the remote start, good luck.

As far as the no start with the key, I would probe the wire at the starter to see if it is getting voltage properly. If not, move under the dash to the wiring from the ignition switch (large connector directly under the column). Check the link in my signature for a wiring diagram.
