Default 99Blazer Wrong TCCM

Hi all,

I have a 99Blazer LT with a non working 4wd system!(4 Button with Auto) Ckecking some of the things I have read about on this and other forums ,I find that I may possibly have the wrong TCCM in my vehicle( original has been replaced by a wrecking yard special!!) This TCCM has part #150440103
TZ7EH14297006Y

I have read that the # should be #12577412

Does anyone have a 99 with 4 button auto 4WD that could give me the proper part number! It is totaly possible that someone (previous owner)replaced the TCCM with the wrong one thinking "Hey! whats the difference, it should work!"

any help apreciated Thanx

Gil

Putting 15040103 into Parts4Chevys.com:
Part number 15040103 was superseded by part number 12577412.
You had one too many 4's in there.

So it sounds like you have the proper one. The TCCM was revised to cure some of the problems that the originals had so PN 12577412 would be the most up to date version.

There is one up on eBay right now.

As far as testing it goes, a GM Tech2 or equivalent full function scan tool would be required to do any functional tests on the TCCM used in the Auto4wd NV236 transfer case.

Smile 2000 Blazer with TCCM 15040103 original

I am having problems getting my 2000 Blazer to shift into 4wd. I have had the dash switch (NP8 w/Auto 4wd) and all the vacuum lines checked. I am being told that I need to replace the TCCM. I have removed the TCCM, part number 15040103 and cleaned the plugs/pins, etc and plugged it back in and no change. Solid 2wd lit on the switch, Service 4wd lit on the dash, no clicking, no blinking. I am assuming that 12577412 is an updated module that I can replace my 15040103 with. Can anyone confirm that please?
