I'm actually liking the one you found a little better. It doesn't appear the Bosch will actually work on our vehicles. At their site, you can put in your specific vehicle to see if it will work and it doesn't go back as far as 1994. I have other vehicles and do work on a lot of my family's vehicles so it won't be a waste of money if it's a decent unit.

It should be the top right 2 PINs on the 94. Insert paperclip into top right 2 pins , then KOEO . Don't actually start the car.
Count the SES flashes(SES light on the dash) , pause , then count second set of flashes, and you'll have your code..
