Default Absolutely stumped?

My 2004 Blazer s-10 has still problems running hot especially on hot days and especially with the A/C on even without it on the temperature guage is all over the place and sometimes runs above 210. Along with that issue when my truck warms up it seems to lose alot of power.

I have had a flush and fill and the thermostat replaced.

Any ideas my dads silverado even on 100+ days with the a/c full blast doesnt run even at 190 but he has an oil and transmission auxillary cooler. any ideas Also when im done driving and the engine is hot there is a smell of something burning. somewhere in the engine.

Thanks gueys.

Also today sitting at a red light with the A/C the temp climbed up extremely hot and if i let my truck sit and start it the temp will be hott and the damn fan clutch has to keep kicking in constantly to cool it down makes my truck sound like a semi.

Several ideas
Have your TPS tested.
Verif your fan clutch is working.
Make sure your rad is topped off and the over flow tank is full.
Verify your a/c is fully charged.
