Default Transfer Case Bolts

I'm taking my transfer case out to replace the input seal. My problem is that I can't figure out how to get the top two bolts. I have tried numerous angles and I cannot seem to get anything in there to torque on it.

its been a while, however I believe you need to take the tranny to t-case adapter off with the t-case, then unbolt that from teh t-case.

I believe that is what I am taking off. It's the part with the 6 bolts right behind the tranny right?
