Just about finnished up putting the 4L60E with nv233 transfer case in....
(Someone else took it out and I was warned by folks on here about the difficulty of re-install)
But, I couldn't resist so...
Everything in and bolted up (except for the dipstick tube that I'm starting to think should have been put in earlier in the process lol) All wires are hooked up BUT, I only have one vacuum line hanging from the top of the tranny. My friend (vehicle owner) says he clearly remembers two lines when he's son took the original tranny out.
Should their be another vac line on the trans or transfer? I can't see any more hook ups (but then again, you don't see much on the top of one of these puppies)!
2002 Blazer (4.3)
All help greatly appreacited
By the way, this will be the last Blazer trans/transfer that I install for $150...

There really was no need for another thread.
The dipstick tube can be replaced with things in place, it is just a real pain in the butt.
As far as vacuum lines... There should be the three line pack which plugs into the transfer case as shown in the first thread you created (reason for not making another thread for the same relative questions). You have a vent tube on the top of the transmission as well as a vent tube on top of the transfer case. The transfer case vent may have a rubber hose to extend the vent up into the engine compartment, but the transmission typically does not.
