Default Bad Fuel??

I bought my 95 blazer about a month ago and it needed new plugs, it was misfiring. Changed the plugs no problem and it runs smooth, but when i try to start it sometimes it fires right up and sometimes it cranks for a few seconds before it starts at a low idle. It has a new starter, distriubter cap and plug wires. Now could this be a bad fuel pump? I normally use Turkey Hill for gas (I live in PA lol) but i put a full tank of valero in it last week and it idles rough and a stop and say i give it a little power and come off and it almost stalls but it doesnt. Any ideas could help, I plan on changeing the fuel filter soon...

Bad fuel can cause other things to get dirtier and often clog. The EGR valve could be clogged. The throttle body (and IAC valve) could be dirty.

The other possibility is that you have a problem with the fuel system. A fuel pressure test and leak down check would tell you more.

When I get the fuel filter changed they are gonna look for rot in the lines and everything. Once they change it should I put in some of that additive and "helps clean" the crap out of the injection system?

A bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System Treatment Plus won't hurt.
