Bad misfire under load

Dude, listen to Les and get your cam retard in spec first, $10 and an hour. :
As stated, normal timing chain wear has caused this to drift to the point of potential bad ignition performance. Then do the fuel pressure test in the sticky. We probably have more collective knowledge of S10/Blazer here than anywhere else in the known universe. If you want help then lets get on with it. If you know what's wrong and how to fix it then be sure to report your solution, we love to learn here.

Can retard was not the issue. I found an unhooked pcv line and replaced coil and it ran perfect. Talked to a couple mechanics around my area and best as they can tell my reader was off which has happened before or it was trying to compensate for the massive vacuum leak and weak coil

Also not to get rude or anything but just because there may be other knowledge doesn’t mean people need to get upset and snippy over answers. I came here under the impression of the forum description it was a fairly friendly community and did not get that feeling. I will probably be leaving and either finding another one that rather than discrediting the person actually working on the vehicle, is willing to work through all possible causes and effects. Often times a problem can have symptoms that match several things and it’s better to explore all possibilities before immediately going worst case

Go with whatever your comfortable with. We have watched thousands of Blazers getting diagnosed and fixed here for decades. The first two things that you almost always do is get CMP retard within spec and test your fuel pressure leakdown at the shrader or else problems and possibly breakdowns are likely to follow. Then if thats not it then you keep looking. Glad you have a quality repair resource and your fixed up.
