Default Bench test Transmission

I have a dropped 4L60 transmission and would like to know if I could bench test it or pressure check for leaks.

I am concerned that I might have nicked one of the teflon seals at the front pump.

Much appreciated and thank you.

Your 4 options.

1. A local community college or transmission shop that does automatic repairs may have the equipment.
2. An engine on a test stand.
3. Pull the pump out and check. Unless it's on the input shaft. If you are that worried, just take the part out and have someone look at it.
4. Just put it in and roll the dice. It'll either work or it wont. You may have to replace some clutches, but they are fairly cheap and you'll have it out to fix the seal anyway.

Why is the transmission out in the first place? A used or reman you are putting in?
