blazer help please - 99 hard to start

Considering that the requirement for fuel pressure is that it maintains >=50psi 10 minutes after the pump shuts off... If the pressure reaches a maximum of 55psi and is dropping as soon as the pump shuts off, I'd say you definitely have a fuel supply issue. Now time to get the necessary adapters to test at the fuel filter, isolating the pump. This is discussed in the fuel pressure test tech article. If the pressure continues to drop when testing at this location, then you either have a leaking check valve in the pump or a leaking line from the pump to the top of the fuel pump assembly. The only way to know which is to pull the pump.

Alright tested at the fuel filter and still only went to 55psi and dropped 10psi in 3 minutes after key shut off so just replacing the pump and complete sending unit

Thanks swartlkk for the help and info changed fuel pump and its all better now
