Blazer Spiders From Hell
Everyone. I hate to bring this news to you all but this is the way the cookie has crumbled. The shop put in another new spider put it back together and it was still running rough. Did a compression test to find nobody home on cylinder six. I'm puzzled. Stunned. Why? How? I guess I will never know until I get it apart. Most of all mad, mad at myself. Les, you had it from the start!!! I don't know where I will go from here but I do really want to keep it since I've put so much work into this truck, so it will be nothing short of a complete rebuild or new engine.
This is just so unfortunate.

Yeah, Christine... I'm really feeling destroyed on the inside right now, could this be what was wrong the whole time meaning this is what went on Christmas Eve? I definitely want to take it apart either way just to see what there is to see, whether it goes back together or not is a different story. I want to add some points. I cracked the oil pan on a rock before I got the metal skid plates, so it's jb welded right now, still leaks a bit. The rear main seal is leaking. If I do choose to want to rebuild it I will definitely want to do it myself, yes, I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer right now, this stuff is interesting for me. I haven't ever done something like this but I'm definitely willing to try and learn. I'm thinking right now I would just pull the engine out so I could work on it in my garage until it's ready to go again, I would definitely convert to the marine intake at this time as well.
