Default Buying new ecm, last ditch effort..

After rebuilding half my 03 blazer chasing the misfire codes I’m down to the ecm.
I was quoted $450 from pcmperformance and also am going to try wait4me as well.

Curious if this pricing sounds about right?
I’ve searched the forums but a lot of the threads are older, things can change in four or five years.

Thank you for all the positive replies

You can get a used/rebuilt for under $150 and they will pre-program to your vehicle. Just use Google.

There's a lot of places online that you can send it to and have it reprogrammed for you vehicle. A dealership can reprogram it too but at a premium cost I'm sure...

It's the same computer that's used on a ton of GM vehicles, so they're a dime a dozen in junk yards. The picture below is what my interchange system at work says has the same computer, but I'm sure there's actually more that will work. For instance, my 04 has what's known as the "411" computer, and those are used on everything from S10's to Corvettes, just different programming...
