Because my A/C does not work and i wouldnt use it anyways A/C is not worth spending money on fixing to me. I'd rather put that money towards a bush guard or sumthing. so i wanna know if it would be hard to do.

It may not be a big factor in Canada, but down here it would absolutely kill the general resale value.

Well I don't think it would be hard just time consuming and you would have a big hole in your dash if your talking about removing everything.

I think all you would have to do would be recover the refrigerant *the Montreal protocol made it illegal to vent the refrigerant into the atmosphere so make sure you use a recovery machine to pull out the refrigerant* drain the oil and just pull out your compressor, evaporator, receiver/dryer etc.

Because i figure with that gone and then when i get my CAI it would make the engine bay look a lot cleaner.Plus delete something to be driven so a minimal performance upgrade along with weight loss.

just grab the A/C bypass pulley from an earlier (1st gen) non-A/C truck, along with the serpentine belt, remove the compressor & lines, then install the bypass pulley & belt.

just be sure to keep track of those part #'s for the future when you need to replace them.

if you want, pm me, i've got those part #'s around here somewhere (brother's Summer Dime is non-A/C), and i can also send you the belt routing for the different set-up.
