Default changed intake gasket now crank no start

i have a 2000 blazer with 4.3l vin code w. the motor was running before i changed the blown intake gasket. i marked everything when took it apart so i would not mess it up when i put everything back together. i tried starting it but no start. so i went back in and check the timeing maybe i was off a tooth but i was dead on. so i put everthing back together and checked all sensors where pluged in and they were. so i also checked for spark and fuel and thats fine. after all that the motor still cranks but no start.

Does it start on starting fluid or even feel like it's going to start when your cranking it?

Could you describe the procedure you used to verify that the timing was correct?

i follow the steps posted by this site on how to set edi timing.

the first thing i did was set timing marks. to make sure i was at top dead center. i also pulled off drive side valve cover to make sure i was on the intake stroke also

then i made sure when i droped in the ditirbutor the rotor was poiting at the #6 staped into the body of the distirbutor.

the gear on the distirbutor looks fine but there no marks telling me if 180 out or not. so if it does not show any signs of starting. i try turning it 180 degrees and give it a try.
